<div>At the meeting at the beginning of November we discussed the DEFRA data accelerator project, whereby DEFRA want to release 8,000 new datasets as open data by June 2016. It is an excellent opportunity for MEDIN DACs to demonstrate how they are already helping
DEFRA achieve their aims.</div>

<div>I need to provide DEFRA with evidence that MEDIN can help DEFRA deliver on their plan. To help with this I’d be grateful if you could:</div>

</b><b>December</b> so that we can let DEFRA know what a good job we are doing making their data openly available. You’ll see that they also want the URL to the data (if direct access to the data exists please make sure you use the right URL), if the data is
available under OGL and if the data could be published on data.gov.uk. (Remember MEDIN can pass metadata to data.gov on request, we just need the go ahead from the data owner).</li></ol>
