<div>The next MEDIN standards meeting will be held in JNCC in Peterborough on 21<font size="1">st</font> October – please confirm to me if you are attending by end of next week so we can book an appropriate room. The meeting will start at 10.30 and
end at 4pm. I expect most discussion will be on Data Guidelines as minor changes to the discovery metadata standard discussed at the last meeting will have been completed by then – see below. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>James, Becky, Tim, (others for information)– following revisions to GEMINI2 discovery metadata standard and INSPIRE guidance attached is a list of proposed changes to the MEDIN discovery standard - most are fairly obvious and do not need discussion, however
there are 3 which we should agree on before proceeding as highlighted in the comments column – please can you let me know you feelings by middle of next week and then I can revise the guidance document and then this can filter down to the tools hopefully in
time for the next meeting.</div>
