<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The new version of the standard is v3.1 and brings MEDIN’s discovery metadata guidance notes in line with the latest changes to the UK GEMINI v2.3 discovery metadata profile.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">MEDIN are currently working on upgrading our tools to allow users to generate metadata that meets v3.1 of the MEDIN Standard and will inform you when these upgrades are complete.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
