ship LUYMES. It was in service between 1952 and 1973.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">This may very well be the ship which
had ICES code 64LU.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">The Dutch Navy number was A902</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">In 2004 or 2005, the new Luymes was
commissioned.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">According to the official Dutch navy
web site, this vessel has a length of </font><font size=3>75,0</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif">
m (maximum length overall)</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">A beam of 13.1 m and draft of 4.0
m.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">The displacement is 1875 tonnes.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Dutch navy number is A803.</font>

vessel, but perhaps we also should inform the Dutch Navy Hydrographic Office
about allocating code numbers to their vessels?</font>

the sister ship of the LUYMES, HNLMS Snellius.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">But that will need a bit more time to
answer, since there has been a whle series of ships called Snellius.</font>

at least since 2000. The POGO list gives a build year of 2003. I have found
on Lloyds SeaWeb a reference "originally Scheldt 392".</font>
