<P><SPAN LANG="en-gb"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">We have discussed this at ICES and propose that all members of the platform group will be automatically registered with a user name and password. The platform group member can then give out their user/password to appropriate users from their country. This would help ensure that</FONT></SPAN></P>

<LI><SPAN LANG="en-gb"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">ICES does not become a bottleneck</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN LANG="en-gb"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">the registered user list is not cluttered with addresses of temporary staff and one time users</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN LANG="en-gb"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">there is coordination/shared responsibility between partners</FONT></SPAN></LI>
<LI><SPAN LANG="en-gb"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">the platform list has at least one member from each country</FONT></SPAN></LI>

<P><SPAN LANG="en-gb"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">There will be a field for "Interim correspondance email" which we will use if we have questions. If the field is left blank, questions will go to the platform group user. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">ICES should be notified automatically when new members are added to the platform group so the person can be given a user name/password. Do you have any objections to this procedure? We have experience with this type of procedure from QUASIMEME and it works well.</FONT></SPAN></P>
