Data at ICES from 1989. Call sign not in Lloyds but 1989 confirmed. Same ship as the Ukrainian assumed.<br />(added by: Marilynn Sorensen - 05/05/2010 00:00:00)<br /><br />I have received some quite detailed information on an Odessa Branch State Oceanographic Institute research vessel Vladimir Parshin including an IMO (8606587) and a callsign (EOHF), which was built in Finland in 1989, commissioned in the same year and therefore has operated under USSR and Ukranian flags . <br /> <br />There is an entry (902B) for a vessel named Vladimir Parshin with the callsign given as UINF. Anybody any idea whether this is the same ship and if so, what is the story behind the callsign? Could it be that one callsign is USSR and the other Ukranian?
