WOD code is 9659. The US NODC database does not currently support the use of characters like "ö;", thus the spelling uses "oe".<br />(added by: Don Collins - 15/09/2010 00:00:00)<br /><br />This appears to be a ship from the German Democratic Republic (GDR), as referenced in Fishery Bulletin, Vol. 81, No. 4 on page 860. The Institut for Hochseefischerei had a platform Görlitz (see http://www.rostocker-hochseefischerei.de/schiffe/trawler/trawler.php?id=45).
