that once a code has been assigned to a concept then it cannot be
changed. All I could do is to 'soft deprecate' the
code: in other words Sarmiento de Gamboa would have two codes assigned with a
note saying to use the new code rather than the old. This is not a good
idea as somebody is bound not to read the note. The ICES system will have
exactly the same problem.<o:p></o:p></span></font></b></p>
