NOAA and ICES have agreed to align codes for the Toronto which results in changes of information at a number of sources. The information below is in effect as of 2013-06-20.

<br />NODC is willing to use 18TR (WOD code 1025, Callsign CGAD) for the platform HMCS TORONTO active from 1993 to present(?) and 18TA (WOD code 8879, callsign CZGL, pennant FFE319 and K538) for the platform HMCS TORONTO active from 1944-1956. We will also make appropriate changes to the metadata for cruises identified in the World Ocean Database. Fortunately, the codes were not embedded in any of the original data that we are finding in our archival holdings.
