<br />BODC hold 3 Aberdeen Marine Laboratory CSRs for Young Fish Survey charters in 1988, 1989 and 1992. Two of the cruise reports specifically mention that Resolution is the Gardline vessel. This removes my doubts about Aberdeen using a Gardline vessel.

<br />http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=78446 shows Resolution as newly acquired by Gardline in August 1981. So, Gardline service from 1981 until at least 1992.

<br />http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1033536 provides evidence that a Resolution subsequently became Odys Echo then Odysee I (built 1966 as Hull Trawler Lady Parkes), which is a wreck by 2009. This is where my information on IMO came from, which lead to the callsign.

<br />RESOLUTION until 1977
<br />LADY PARKES until 1966 May
<br />
<br />for Odysee I. This fits with your callsign dates.

<br />Therefore it looks like the IMO and callsign are from the Resolution operating from 1966 to 1975 and should be removed from 74E8, which definitely relates to the Resolution from 1981 to (at least) 1992. Can you find any IMO/callsign for this ship?
