General Comments:

The ship's licence was cancelled in 2004 and a new licence issued, along with new call sign (CGVF). Therefore, the old CG2248 call sign is valid for this ship code. A new code will be requested for any 2004 or post-2004 data if any ever gets collected by this ship. WOD cruises CA018857 and CA018858 should be aligned to a different ship altogether, 18FQ (Fundy Spray) - the confusion first arised at DFO and propagated to WOD.

http://jproc.ca/rrp/appendg_sa_to_sp.html shows CGVF as call sign for SASKATOON.
