Dear All,

A couple of points of detail.

1) In a previous discussion we agreed to omit the hyphen from US naval pennants - so should be WMEC 39, not WMEC-39. I've added several hundred pennants to the ICES database following this convention.

2) US Coast Guard vessels are frequently heavily armed and have seen a lot of action, especially during the Vietnam War. Consequently, I have been classifying them as 'naval vessels' when adding information to the ICES database. Should we continue to do
this?

Cheers, Roy.
