SANTA BARBARA” – IMO:9285689 – Flag: Luxembourg – Type: Container Ship On January 23, the “MSC Seattle” suffered engine failure, enrute from Croyton to Antwerp. The ship went adrift in south-west winds force 5-7 (fresh breeze-near gale), slight or moderate, becoming rough later with force 9 (severe gale) for a time. The crew managed to repair the damage the same day, so that the ship resumed its voyage and arrived in Antwerp on January 24 where it berthed in the Deurgang (transit) Dock.
