<br />This ship was originally requested as EDGAR B. SPEER with call sign WDG7083. In 2014 this ship had its call sign changed from WDG7083 to WDH7562. The name, flag and MMSI remained the same, however. This change was confirmed by searching the Federal Communications Commission (USA). For consistency between the original request and the current instance of the ship, two codes were created, 33LW for the name EDGAR B. SPEER and call sign WDG7083 combination and 33Q8 for the name EDGAR B. SPEER and call sign WDH7562 combination.
