<br />This ship was originally requested as CMA CGM CARMEN with call sign A8IE8, and as sailing under the Liberian flag. In METEO and ITU the call sign A8IE8 is associated with E.R. TOKYO. When CMA CGM CARMEN became E.R. TOKYO, the call sign, MMSI, and flag remained unchanged. To better coordinate between the information sources and the history of this ship, two codes were created: 54B4 for CMA CGM CARMEN and 54L1 for E.R. TOKYO.
