<br />This ship was originally requested as CMA CGM DON CARLOS, with call sign A8IE6 and as sailing under the Liberian flag. In METEO, the call sign A8IE6 is linked to the name LLOYD DON CARLOS. When CMA CGM DON CARLOS became LLOYD DON CARLOS, the call sign, MMSI and flag remained unchanged. To better coordinate with the information sources and the history of this ship, two codes were created: 545X for CMA CGM DON CARLOS, and 544L for LLOYD DON CARLOS.
