<br />This ship was originally requested as DON QUIJOTE, with call sign 9V8797, and as sailing under the Swedish flag. The call sign 9V8797 belongs to a later instance of the ship, sailing under the Singaporean flag and under the same name. When sailing under the Swedish flag, DON QUIJOTE had the call sign SFQP. For consistency, two codes were created: 7741 for DON QUIJOTE sailing under the Swedish flag with call sign SFQP and SIOM for DON QUIJOTE sailing under the Singaporean flag with call sign 9V8797.
