<br />This ship was originally requested as OCEANIC DISCOVERER with call sign VMQ8808. In METEO and ITU, the call sign VMQ8808 is associated with CORAL DISCOVERER. When OCEANIC DISCOVERER became CORAL DISCOVERER, the call sign and MMSI remained unchanged. For consistency between the original request and official information sources, two codes were created for this ship, 09O0 for OCEANIC DISCOVERER and 096C for CORAL DISCOVERER. Both ship instances are associated with the same call sign and MMSI.
