[Edserplo_users] Series not saving

EDSERPLO does not seem to be saving/updating series.  I have been using the driver file /users/bodc2/ctd/daf050085/qxf/drv_scot and the settings file /users/bodc2/ctd/daf050085/qxf/clupea_set.
 
I had made a few changes to some of the series, went into the series page and tried to save.  The % complete bar hung on 0% for a while so I closed it using the X button.  When I go to save the series again nothing seems to happen.  There is no % complete tool bar appearing anymore and the W is not changing colour.  I also can't access the CTD plot page anymore although it is allowing me to click on the options so it hasn't hung completely but is not responding to any command.  I couldn't exit using the drop down menu.  When I tried to exit using the X button it asked if I wanted to update the series before closing but hung on the 0% complete tool bar again.   I had to eventually exit using the ctrl-alt-delete procedure.
This has happened twice.
