[Edserplo_users] Update - first for a month

Many changes have been made. Most of the effort has gone into rationalising and correcting port processing (Edteva-type work). In particular the Output page class has been revised to amalgamate the series (I hope) correctly. However although Edserplo can output QXF some of the other capabilities which were there, at least nominally, are now broken. As no one is currently using the Output page this is not an immediate problem but it is a warning that you should only do so in respect of producing unsampled data. (viz don't specify an interval). I'll continue to work on the associated class.

We have also recoded the (demo) option which allows one to use Edserplo in the absence of a numeric keypad. Unfortunately this option as originally coded interferes with Mac use so Edserplo now determines the operating system and specifically excludes Mac for this option - but of course we haven't been able to test this change.

Specific problems fixed include robm389601, malh389533

When I came to repair malh389533 I discovered the coding for linestyle plotting was not of the best for the later line styles - so I have recoded it chopping out nearly 100 lines in the process from one of the key loops of the entire program. Aside from that line style 5 was the same as line style 4 and a linestyle 6 had been defined (I wasn't aware of this one - it wasn't in X/Serplo)

The current definitions for these line styles are:
  4) Span gaps of data not flagged blank with dark blue line (was arbitrary and changed on each refresh of the screen!)
  5) Same but allow flags R and T as well
  6) As for 4 but don't plot a line for the flags so spanned
  7) As for 5 but don't plot a line for the flags so spanned

7 is an additional line style.

The above relates to time series plotting. I have yet to review the CTD code.

cora389542 raised the issue of zooming on the CMD scatter plot. Because the data in question had numerically small values the zoom limit came into play. You may therefore have to adjust the zoom-in limit before you can see anything useful - which is an option on that page. The settings issue raised for the same reference (series page and timeseries page can show a channel in different colours) is still being looked at. Although we demonstrated the problem successfully on Friday, we haven't been able to replicate it today. This is very unusual!
