Subject: Revised invitation to bid for MEDIN Small Data Archiving Projects

Dear MEDIN DAC Working group,

As discussed at the recent working group meeting, there is some money available in the MEDIN DAC budget this financial year to fund some small data archiving projects. Projects up to a value of £15K are welcomed. This is an invitation to all MEDIN DACs to submit proposals for this money by Wednesday 10th January 2018. As agreed at the meeting, these small data archiving projects should focus on any of the three themes:


1)    Direct access to data.

2)    Increased archiving of marine monitoring data.

3)    Increased access to industry marine environmental data.


Proposals should be submitted using the attached template, which also includes the success criteria that the reviewers will use to prioritise projects.

Please submit proposals to Clare Postlethwaite (cfpo at bodc.ac.uk<mailto:cfpo at bodc.ac.uk>) by Wednesday 10th January 2018.
