Subject: EMODnet user survey
Dear EMODnet Biology colleagues,
The European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) is undergoing an independent evaluation to assess its future options. A team of external evaluators have been contracted by the European Commission to carry out this evaluation.
In this context the evaluators launched a survey to hear opinions from organizations and citizens who use the data(products) made accessible on EMODnet and/or provide data to EMODnet. In particular, the Commission is interested in finding out about first-hand experiences with using the Portal, how it has contributed to relevant activities, and in what ways EMODnet could be improved, to better fit the needs of its users and society as a whole.
Therefore, you are kindly requested to:
* Respond to the survey (available in English): https://www.survey-xact.dk/LinkCollector?key=MLXGLM8V1235
* Share the link through your communication channels with your network of EMODnet data users and/or providers. Please encourage your network to also promote the link through their own means to their audiences.
The consultation will be open until 02/12/2018. The results will help direct the future development and improvement of EMODnet.
We greatly value your participation and your help in further disseminating this opportunity.
Kind regards
Simon Claus
Coordinator EMODnet Biology
PS: Completing the survey took me exactly 16 minutes and contains some important and very relevant questions - I would appreciate If you could complete this!
