Dear MEDIN Working Groups,

This November/December, MEDIN will be holding its fifth Joint Working Group meeting (the MEDIN Mega Meeting!) to bring together the expertise from its various working groups to discuss issues that cut across all the groups. I am currently trying to pin down some dates and would be grateful if you could let me know your availability using the DoodlePoll https://doodle.com/poll/5axa8wyahzywgeik.

As in previous years, we hope to bookend the Joint Working Group meeting (the Mega meeting) with the regular Data Archive Centre (DAC) and Standards Working group meetings (and possibly also meetings of the Resources and Applications and Portal groups) , so I’ll try to make sure that this will be feasible with the dates you provide.

Depending on people’s availability, the proposed schedule will be:

Day Morning Afternoon (2 concurrent sessions)
1
Data Archive Centre (DAC) Working Group
+
Resources and Applications Working Group (tentative)
2 Joint Working Group
(DAC/Standards/Portal/Resources and Applications/Communication Working Groups) Standards Working Group
+
Portal Steering Group (tentative)

Location:

The meeting location is to be determined but will likely be London.

Best wishes,

Clare
