Dear MEDIN Working Groups,

This November/December, MEDIN will be holding its sixth Joint Working Group meeting (the MEDIN Mega Meeting!) to bring together the expertise from its various working groups to discuss issues that cut across all the groups. I am currently trying to pin down some dates to hold a virtual meeting and would be grateful if you could let me know your availability using the DoodlePoll https://doodle.com/poll/3xednttvnsque5ww

As in previous years, we hope to bookend the Joint Working Group meeting (the Mega meeting) with the regular Data Archive Centre (DAC) and Standards Working group meetings (and possibly also meetings of the Resources and Applications, Portal and Historic Environment groups) , so I’ll try to make sure that this will be feasible with the dates you provide.

Depending on people’s availability, the proposed schedule will be:

Day

Morning

Afternoon (concurrent sessions)

1

Data Archive Centre (DAC) Working Group meeting
+
Resources and Applications Working Group meeting (tentative)

2

Joint Working Group meeting
(DAC/Standards/Portal/Resources and Applications/Communication Working Groups)

Standards Working Group meeting
+
Portal Steering Group meeting (tentative)

+

Historic Environment DAC Working Group meeting (tentative)

Location:

The meeting will be virtual.

Best wishes,

Clare
