I have now had confirmation from Core Trust Seal (CTS) that it is<span> </span><u>NOT</u><span> </span>possible to extend the time period for all organisations under an umbrella (MEDIN) to gain CTS accreditation in order to qualify for the umbrella discount.
This is an issue for MEDIN as it moves from its own accreditation (with a 5 year duration) to Core Trust Seal accreditation (with a 3 year duration), as we have the minimum organisations required for an umbrella discount (10). MEDIN will not push its DACs
to apply for CTS earlier than would be required under the MEDIN accreditation timescale during this transition period. Looking at the timeline for accreditation/re-accreditation, It is clear that: </div>
