Dear MEDIN,

Following the Autumn publication of our first round of MCCIP rolling updates, we will be releasing another round of topic reports and summaries in the week commencing 20th February. The topics this time round cover climate change impacts [relevant to the UK and Ireland] on oxygen, ocean circulation, sea temperature, storms and waves and marine mammals. Once published, I will pass on the direct links to these publications.

To support the launch of these reviews, MCCIP will host a webinar on 10th March (11.30-1.00) where all five topic leads will discuss their key findings and take questions. Providing opportunities for researchers and end-users to engage directly on the evidence, and what it means, is a key aim of our new approach. To register for the webinar please go to https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/temperature-storms-waves-ocean-circulation-marine-mammals-and-oxygen-tickets-541139842837. Please feel free to pass this information on to relevant contacts.

Other ways to stay connected with MCCIP activities include our twitter page @MccipOrgUK and our new quarterly newsletter<https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/UKCEFAS/subscriber/new?preferences=true> (please note the newsletter sign-up page is branded as Cefas, which hosts the MCCIP secretariat...just 'add' a subscription to MCCIP).

All the best,

Paul Buckley, MCCIP Programme manager
