[Medin_partners] Marine Data Management, Governance and the MEDIN toolset - new training dates

Dear MEDIN network,

The Marine Environmental Data and Information Network (MEDIN) and OceanWise are delighted to announce new 2024 course dates for our popular free online training workshop: Marine Data Management, Governance and the MEDIN toolset.

This training course is ideal for new starters to be introduced to MEDIN to give wider context for their role within the MEDIN network; and an excellent opportunity to consider your organisation’s business management framework and how data management is included in it.

Be empowered as a data champion and consider best practices to improve organisational efficiency in data acquisition, analysis, curation, and sharing with colleagues at your organisation.

Registration is now open for the workshop on the following dates:

  *   18th – 22nd of March 2024 (https://classroom.oceanteacher.org/course/view.php?id=999, enrolment key: MEDIN032024)

Provisional dates for future training workshops are as follows, email Roseanna<mailto:roswri at noc.ac.uk?subject=MEDIN%20workshop%20enquiry> to be added to the waiting list to be notified when registration opens:

  *   3rd - 7th of June 2024
  *   2nd – 6th of September 2024
  *   4th – 8th of November 2024

The training takes place over 5 days with live lessons in the morning and independent learning in the afternoons, which can be completed flexibly around your other work commitments.
