[Medin_standards] Discovery metadata generation tool

The MEDIN discovery metadata generation tool can be viewed at http://www.dassh.ac.uk/medin_metadata Could you please take a look and provide any comments to Becky Seeley [bese at MBA.ac.uk] and cc me in (mecha at bodc.ac.uk<mailto:mecha at bodc.ac.uk>) by 25th August. For background we expect that this tool will be used by non metadata experts to generate MEDIN complient metadata. Other similar tools exist such as the INSPIRE metadata editor http://www.inspire-geoportal.eu/index.cfm/pageid/342

Also  - the Data Guideline on 'Sediment sampling by grab or core for benthos' has been published at http://www.oceannet.org/marine_data_standards/medin_approved_standards/ and we have added some Quick Links to the MEDIN standards webpages. Any comments are welcome.
