MEDIN Metadata Standards and Tools Workshop
Tuesday 8th October 2013, 9:30 - 16:00

MEDIN is pleased to announce that a MEDIN Metadata Standards and Tools Workshop will take place at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton on Tuesday 8th October 2013.

Aim: To improve the knowledge and use of MEDIN standards and the tools that support them. The workshop comprises a series of talks, demonstrations and practicals to help users become familiar with:
*         The MEDIN discovery metadata standard.
*         MEDIN data guidelines
*         Controlled vocabularies

Location:      National Oceanography Centre,
European Way
Southampton SO14 3ZH
United Kingdom

The workshop will start at 9:30, and run to 4:00pm.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, including a vegetarian option.  Please let me know if you have any other dietary requirements.
