[Medin_standards] Update to MEDIN ARC tool

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the release of an update to one of the tools that MEDIN provides to create MEDIN standard metadata. The tool allows you to transform metadata created within the GIS software, ArcCatalogue (v10.0, v10.1 and v10.2) to the MEDIN standard. The transformation tool, including detailed instructions, can be downloaded from the MEDIN website http://www.oceannet.org/submit_metadata/creating.html.

I would also like to draw your attention to a selection of FREE workshops to help users of the MEDIN metadata standard and tools and MEDIN data guidelines. Detailed information about the workshops is available here http://www.oceannet.org/marine_data_standards/workshops.html.
