[Medin_standards] MEDIN discovery standard - amendments for service metadata. Review

Dear MEDIN Standards Working Group,

I have been updating the MEDIN Discovery Metadata Standard to properly account for service metadata. I have attached the amended document to this e-mail. Could I request that members of the Group please look through it and assess whether the changes meet the requirements as specified by the Group back in July 2014?

Some areas that I could do with feedback on are:

1)      Should XML examples of elements which have been updated to include service metadata content also be updated, or are the current XML examples ok? The current examples are for dataset records, not service metadata records (with one or two exceptions).
2)      Should there be more explicit text relating to the use of Element 12 (Geographic Bounding Box) for services, or is the text as it stands sufficiently clear on use for services?
3)      Does the content of Element 18 - Spatial Resolution read properly, from a service metadata point of view?
