[Medin_standards] MEDIN Joint Working Group meeting, November 2018

Dear MEDIN Working Groups,

This November, MEDIN will be holding its fourth joint working group meeting (the MEDIN Mega Meeting!) to bring together the expertise from its various working groups to discuss issues that cut across all the groups. As in previous years, we hope to bookend the Joint Working Group meeting (the Mega meeting) with the regular DAC and Standards Working group meetings, so I'll try to make sure that this will be feasible with the dates you provide. We also hope to link with the MEDIN hackathon and a historic environment DAC meeting if possible.

Depending on people's availability, the proposed schedule will be:

Day 2   MEDIN Hackathon /
Historic Environment DAC meeting        DAC Working Group meeting
Day 3   MEDIN Mega Meeting (DAC, Standards, Resources and Applications, Portal Working Groups)  Standards Working Group meeting


Location:
The meeting location is to be determined but will likely be either London or Edinburgh. Please let me know if you have a strong preference.
