[Medin_standards] Industry Data Discoverability & Accessibility Pilot Study - Request for Responses, Marine Data Exchange

Dear MEDIN colleagues,
The Marine Data Exchange (MDE) Industry Data Discoverability and Accessibility study seeks to understand how MDE users search for data, how quickly and effectively they can find what they are looking for and how the MDE could be improved to increase industry data accessibility and discoverability.

We would greatly appreciate it if members from your team would be interested in filling out this questionnaire<https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=FuxA4ZasREO79HXHwfeTs_9XOMnDMBZGigWkFw_k5VZUMDQxWjhXVDQ1OVEyNFRNUEdUQzM0NVkyQS4u> (*even if you don’t currently use the MDE already*). It is a short survey and should take an absolute maximum of 10 minutes (more like 3-5). We would be especially grateful if individuals regularly searching for marine data would be happy to take part in the second phase of the questionnaire/study (option to opt in in the questionnaire).

We are searching for individuals to take part who are:


  *   Searching for data to use in marine natural capital assessments
  *   Searching for data to use/feed into EIA/HRAs/environmental reporting
  *   Searching for data to use in nature recovery/habitat creation projects
  *   Developer/industry representatives uploading data as part of the leasing/data sharing agreement
  *   Searching for data to use in feasibility modelling for future offshore projects
  *   Searching for data to inform my university studies
  *   Searching for data to inform cultural/social/marine archaeological studies
