I have been offered and accepted the position of Head of Profession NERC Libraries and I wanted to let you all know as soon as possible. I hope you will agree there is much we can achieve together . One of the things I have been asked to do is present a short headline paper to ISG on 9 Dec. and I shall draft something and send it around before submission.

I hope you all feel this is a new beginning for NERC Libraries and an opportunity to interface more strongly with NERC Management to gain support for strategies we want to pursue.
