Hi Susanne,

58P3 is fine and has been added into our system.  According to the information we have from Bergen on OWS Mike Polarfront I was withdrawn in 1974, leaving just Polarfront II operating in 1975 and 1976.

Dear all,

We need a code for the Norwegian Research Vessel POLARFRONT, callsign
LDWR, built in 1976 and operating on OWS Mike.
She is a replacement ship for the POLARFRONT I (code 58P1) & POLARFRONT
II (code 58P2), which were both in operation from 1948-1976, when the
POLARFRONT took over.

I have checked the NODC version from July 2006, suggest the code to
become 58P3 and hope you can all agree to this.
