Dear All, Lloyds database turned up the answer. There WAS a Hesperides, (subsequently renamed Carmela B) operating from May 1982 until January 1997 with the callsign EDQP, but she was a tanker not a research vessel. So, we should in fact use 29HE for this ship and the new code (29AN?) for the research vessel. Cheers, Roy.
