There is a "HMAS Leeuwin" on the NODC website with 09LE and call sign VLSE. Can you see if it is the same - or an older ship with the same name?

Wyuna, ICES suggested code 09WY, build 1953, call sign VKVS (Lloyds), Platform research vessel, IMO5393907, notes sold 2004
