I hadn't realised thatthe changes I'd found were to do with reunification.  However, I think we still need two codes to indicate the change of governance, particularly as the callsign changes or we'll get ourselves in a right mess!

which was build in 1949 named Erfurt,
as Clupea with call sign YARZ 10.01.1983-31.12.1991
		fishery research cutter for the IHFRO/DDR, and
as Clupea with call sign DBFN since 01.1.1992, still active
		fishery research cutter for the IOR/Germany.
It was always 17,6 mts long
