Hi Matteo,
Our metadata is synchronised (manually not automatically - yet) with ICES, and the most recent Italian ships added to the ICES system with decent metadata were added to C174 last week. The exception was Thetis (48TH) that got missed because I missed one character out of the build script. This has now been fixed and Thetis will appear tomorrow.
This leaves 11 ships in your list where the current metadata are not what I would consider good enough for C174. Most just have the country, a few the callsign, a short note in one case (Ondina) and contradictary information to ICES (research vessel or fishing boat?) in another (Francesco Vercelli).
My plan for France, Italy and other SeaDataNet partners with missing ships is to send a spreadsheet with columns for additional information. Any additional metadata I collect will of course be shared with ICES.
Cheers, Roy.

Dear Anne, Marilynn and Roy.
Still working with CSR XML V1. Thanks for including METEOR 06MT in C174
vocab.
For the other Italian ships that are now not included in C174 I think
that OGS already sent metadata for a lot of them to ICES to obtain the
official ICES ship code. Is is possible to recover that ships metadata
from ICES and include in that way the Italian ships in C174? Is there an
official ICES on line application to see which ships are already
recorded with metadata?( I used this:
http://www.ices.dk/datacentre/reco/reco.asp?sortby=Code&ref=315)
If there are some ships from the list I send you that are without
metadata in the ICES database I will search the information for them.
I send you an example from an old mail in which we were asking to
Marilynn the ship code for THETIS :
" /Hi all,
48TH is proposed for the Italian THETIS:
Country: Italy,
Platform: Research vessel,
Call sign: IJQS, Notes: Title N/O, IMO 8417833 (Lloyds),
Built 1986, owned by CNR, sunk in Aug. 2007
Mitch, could you OK this?
Thanks!
Marilynn "/
I attach at this mail the list of Italian ships.
Thanks in advance, let me know about this,
kind regards
Matteo
