Dear Platform Group,
A request came in for clarification of the Danish vessels called DANA (26DA) and DANA II (26DN). We have found that there have actually been 4 DANA's. Data have been reported for at least 3 of them with 26DA - and 26DN has been used inconsistently.
In order to prevent a lot of corrections in actual data across the world, we suggest that 26DA and 26DN be designated as multiple hulls and 4 new codes are created with specifics that one can link to when necessary. "DANA II" will be changed to "DANA" since the name "DANA II" never existed.
Suggested code: 26D1
