Hi again,

No photos, but if you look on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latvian_Naval_Forces you will see that these ships systematically form the cost guard patrol vessels of the Latvian Navy.  Common sense would dictate that there is a common name/pennant pattern.  Not the first time Lloyds have got names and pennants confused....

Thanks for the picture which confirms the name with the pennant. I also found KA-07 with AUSMA at http://www.poga.lv/photos/aigarsp/photo:676307/links/.

Do you have pictures of SAULE with pennant KA-08 and ASTRA with pennant KA-14? We did not receive these names with the request. Only "KA-.." stated as the name, not the pennant. We have found other conflicting information in Lloyds so we need the documentation.

Hi Lee,

If you look at the picture on http://www.poga.lv/photos/aigarsp/photo:676306/ you will see that this ship carries KA-01 on the bow and Kristaps on the stern.  This is fairly common naval convention and is usually interpreted as Kristaps being the name and KA-01 being the pennant number.
