Hi all,

There's reference to a PROFESSOR BOGOROV on the www.researchvessels.org/ website - see: www.researchvessels.org/ship_info_display.asp?shipID=667

This one has a different call sign (UABD), built 1976, length 68.88m, country Russia. If you follow it through to the vessel's home page (www.unif.febras.ru/en/index.html, select "Fleet", and then "Professor Bogorov") it gives the IMO number as 7406124 - the same as the one given below. So could this be new details for the same ship (e.g. the sort of thing Roy suggested)?

More bells ringing.  Should we have a decommissioned date here around the time of the dissolution of the USSR and maybe a new code (with different details such as callsign) for post-dissolution activity of this ship?
