Hi Both,

OK, I believe callsign TFTA and a Date of build of 1968 for the current Aegir - nice looking ship for the 60s!

However, I suggest that for now we maintain the current code for the pre-68 vessel, implement the new code for the post-68 vessel.  Should anybody be able to produce clear evidence of oceanographic activity post-68 linked to '46AE' then we invoke the multi-hull procedure.

The multi-hull procedure is disruptive.  Consequently, we should only use it when we absolutely have to, which is when we have clear evidence of oceanographic activity by two hulls under the same name and same ship code. I don't think knowing another ship exists that MIGHT have engaged in oceanographic activity is sufficient.   
  
I've also copied this to platforms in case anybody there can help by identifying post-68 Aegir oceanographic activity.
