[Platforms] Resolving NOAA/ICES code conflicts

Dear Platform Group,

NOAA and ICES have begun resolving code conflicts where the same code refers to a different vessel depending on which list is used.

In these cases, we have agreed that each vessel will be assigned a new common code. The 'old' code will be marked as a multiple hull with an explanatory note and links to the new code. The name associated with the old code will be called "Discontinued" to help tracking.

Luckily there are not too many of these. For a list of those codes which will be marked 'Discontinued' and linked to a new code, please see below.
