Dear All,
Two things, one domestic.
The domestic issue is that I find myself posting this e-mail to both sdn-tech and SeaVoX, which means some people are going to get it twice. As SeaVoX is supposed to be a governance extension from SeaDataNet it would make sense to include everybody on sdn-tech in SeaVoX. If there are no objections, I'll do this in the next week or so - SeaVoX traffic is relatively light so you shouldn't get too many extra e-mails.
Secondly, attached is an e-mail from John Graybeal from MMI on additional platform terms. John and I would welcome your comments (John is on the SeaVoX list). Once mature I would be looking at bringing these terms into L06 - they provide the basis for differentiating between the same instrument deployed in different ways: an issue that's been bugging me for years.
Cheers, Roy.
