Hi

I have received a request to add data loggers from gliders to L22 (e.g. Teledyne Webb Research Slocum science bay data logger)

The ones proposed appear to output a lot of platform engineering variables such as settings and diagnostic variables computed from the external sensors integrated into it. I think they do contain internal clocks. We haven't really created L22 entries for loggers in the past unless the logger has internal environmental sensors.

I wanted to:

1) Get approval from SeaVox for the addition of these data loggers into L22

2) If this is approved, then I would like to request approval for a new L05 category for 'data loggers'
- 'an electronic device that records data over time or in relation to location either with a built in instrument or sensor or via external instruments and sensors.'

Please could we get approval by Friday 1st December?
