Dear Colleagues,
We have received a request to correct the definition for surface gliders in the SeaVoX Platform Categories L06 vocabulary collection (http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/L06/current/3C/).
Request for the definition to be updated to
'Platforms operating at a single depth near the sea surface, using a combination of solar energy and wave motion as means of propulsion.'
Instead of:
'Platforms with buoyancy-based propulsion that operate at a single depth near the sea surface.'
Unless there are any objections we are proposing to implement this change at the end of the week.
Kind regards
Gwen.
