Hi,
We have had a request for a new L05 term describing a 'settlement plate' or 'colonisation substrate', with associated L22 terms detailing specific examples using different materials.
The examples provided mostly involve the use of plastics such as PVC, but we have also read of other experiments involving natural materials such as wood, coral, rock etc.
Therefore we are leaning more towards 'colonisation substrate' for the L05 term, mentioning 'settlement plate' as an example in the description.
Examples of L22 preferred labels:
* Lexan polycarbonate colonisation substrate
* Unknown polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe colonisation substrate
* Scotch-Brite pad bound to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) colonisation substrate
* Unknown grooved polyvinyl chloride (PVC) colonisation substrate
* Unknown ceramic tile colonisation substrate
We would appreciate any feedback on the above terms.
Best wishes,
Dani
