Dear All,

We would like to make 2 announcements:

1- The C32 vocabulary has been extended with the exceptionally reserved ISO 3166 term for the European Union (http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/C32/current/EU/) ; this was requested by ICES as part of their management of platform instances, in particular satellites.

2- We are planning to standardise the alternative label field of the P06 units-of-measure vocabulary against UCUM (https://ucum.org/ucum.html) - this will enable us to become interoperable with resources and applications built on the UCUM notation (see proposal on github https://github.com/nvs-vocabs/P06/issues/12)

If there is any concern about this proposed implementation please let us know by 27 November 2020.
