Robin,
This might be considered an Edserplo problem. When the file is read in the
absent data values are inserted opposite the null flags. This has been true for
a long time. Changing this behaviour is not recommended without a good think
about the consequences.
If you null-flag some data the prior values are still there on output -
certainly in QXF and therefore BUDS. Only after updating a second time do the
absent data values appear opposite the 'N's.
If you want to change the behaviour or have an option added either to Edserplo
or perhaps BUDS you can let me know.
